Islamic Studies & qur'an
At Az-Zahraa Islamic Academy, all students receive additional instruction in Islamic Studies and Qur’an. Our uniquely developed Qur’an curriculum focuses on recitation and basic Quranic Arabic – including memorization and an understanding of the Quran.
The Islamic Studies curriculum primarily follows the Kisa Kids program, enhanced with meaningful additions – especially for the later grades of 5, 6 and 7.
Our passionate teachers not only teach these subjects but also live the values they impart, guiding students by example in understanding and practicing their faith.

The Az-Zahraa Islamic Academy’s library has seen significant updates over the past few years, with ongoing enhancements and additions. Each year, we add hundreds of new books and magazines to our collection, including secular titles and, more importantly, a wide range of Islamic resources to support our students’ academic and spiritual growth. We ensure that all content is enriching and appropriate for students. The library uses Insignia software and provides access to research databases, allowing students to explore reliable sources for projects while learning safe internet practices.
