Uniforms

Az-Zahraa Islamic Academy cultivates a strong Islamic identity through our dress code which are designed to foster an atmosphere of respect, modesty, and dignity. We believe that proper attire contributes significantly to a positive learning environment.

Students wear clean, regulation uniforms daily, unless the school has a casual day. To ensure uniformity and adherence to our standards, all uniform items are available from our designated supplier.

This dress code not only reflects our Islamic values but also promotes a sense of unity and belonging among our student body.

Az-Zahraa Islamic Academy offers a transportation network, featuring five bus routes around the Lower Mainland. 

Our fleet operates daily, synchronized with the school’s academic schedule, ensuring safe and convenient access to education for all enrolled students.

How to apply

Applications are accepted beginning in the spring prior to the next school year. It is imperative that the parent/guardian returns the forms fully completed and submits all relevant documentation at the time of registration. This includes:

  • Registration Form
  • Immunization Record
  • Copy of Birth Certificate
  • Copy of Immigration paper or Canadian citizen card or Refugee Status (if the child is born outside Canada)
  • Copy of Legal Residency of Parent
  • Copy of B.C. Care Card
  • Copy of last Report Card
  • Non-refundable Registration Fee of $250.00
  • Non-refundable Registration Testing Fee of $100.00

The absence of any of the above documents delays the admission process.
