On Monday, September 14, our students took part in our annual Terry Fox Run, honouring Terry Fox and his Marathon of Hope.
Dressed in their House colours, students lined up in their Red, Blue, Green and Yellow House Team lanes and set off along the running route around the field. After every lap they passed through the Lap Check, where staff added a tally mark to their popsicle stick, so we could count how many laps each House completed together. Students ran, walked and cheered each other on, and everyone finished with a fresh tangerine.
Thank you to our staff who marked the route, kept count at the Lap Check and cheered from every corner of the field, and to our families for sending students ready to run.
May Allah grant our students strong bodies and caring hearts.
