We recognize that some families in our community are facing financial challenges that can make covering school tuition for their children difficult. We are permitted to collect entire Khums while retaining Sahme Imam portion for this purpose and delivering the Sahme Sadaat portion to the Islamic Humanitarian Service. We are also permitted to collect Sahme Imam only.
