Sr. Maryam Aghaee was born in Tehran, Iran, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Sharif University of Technology and a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Tehran. After becoming a mother, she shifted her focus to children’s education, completing further studies in child development, Qur’an Tadabbur, and religious education.
She is the founder of Islam for My Kids, a platform that creates values-based Islamic educational resources for children. With strong skills in both art and technology, she designs and produces educational content that engages young learners in meaningful and creative ways.
Since moving to Canada in 2021, she has expanded her work internationally, while also teaching STEAM classes and leading creative workshops with Islamic themes. At Az-Zahraa Islamic Academy, she has contributed through volunteer work, supporting school events and developing educational content for Islamic occasions.
