How it works

  • In British Columbia, a child starts Kindergarten in September of the year they turn 5, as long as they turn 5 by December 31. Each grade after that follows the same rule.
  • AZIA’s Junior Kindergarten is for children from 2½ years old up to Kindergarten age. For younger children, exceptions are sometimes possible.
  • This page is a guide. Our admissions team confirms your child’s placement.
